My Treeschool is a nurturing and safe place for children to grow, explore, and thrive. At our childcare we believe that play is an integral part of a child's development, and provide ample opportunities for children to learn and create in the natural environment. We encourage hands-on learning, problem solving, and creative expression, and inspire children to pursue their own interests to unveil all of their hidden potential and talents.

Playtime and Outdoor Time

We believe playtime is essential for children to develop both physically and mentally. Through play, children are able to explore the world around them, learn to interact with others, and develop their problem solving skills. We provide a variety of activities and toys to ensure children are able to explore and discover their own interests. Outdoor time is also an important part of our program. We ensure that children are exposed to the outdoors and all the wonders that come with it. We have a fenced in outdoor play area where children can run, jump, and explore. We also take the children on supervised walks to the nearby park and have special activities, like nature scavenger hunts, that help them learn about the environment. We prioritize playtime and outdoor time because we believe it’s essential for children to develop and grow in a safe and stimulating environment.

Physical Activity

At our childcare, we understand the importance of physical activity and play in helping children grow and develop. That is why we have dedicated both an indoor and outdoor gym area for the kids to use! Our indoor gym is equipped with a variety of different physical activities and games, such as a balance beam, foam mats for stretching and slings hammocks for aerial yoga. We also have a rock-climbing wall for the more adventurous children. The outdoor gym area is great for fresh air and sunshine. It features a custom-built playground with slides and swings. Our gym areas are designed to be both fun and educational, giving kids of all ages the opportunity to develop their physical and motor skills. We strive to make physical activity a regular part of our childcare program, as we firmly believe it is important for a child’s mental and physical health.

Gardening and growing our own vegetables

We believe in teaching children the importance of where their food comes from. We offer an interactive program where kids can learn about gardening and growing their own vegetables. The children are encouraged to be involved in the entire process, from planting the seeds, to watering the plants, to harvesting the vegetables at the end. Our program provides an opportunity for the children to learn about the environment and sustainability, as well as nutrition. Through their own experiences, the kids can see how vegetables can be grown and observe the changes that occur as the plants grow. They are also able to take ownership of their vegetable garden, as they get to choose what vegetables they want to grow and watch their work come to fruition. In addition to learning about gardening, our program also teaches children about the importance of eating a healthy and balanced diet. The kids get to sample some of the vegetables they have grown, giving them the chance to try new foods they may not have tried before. We are proud to provide this unique experience to our children, and we are sure it will be something they will carry with them for a lifetime.

Meals

At our childcare we provide well- balanced, fresh and healthy meals made from scratch. Our meals are not only nutritious, but also delicious enough to entice even the pickiest eaters. We provide breakfast, AM snack, Lunch and PM Snack.
